I worked really hard on that painting during my undergrad and it's just been sitting around for about 3 years now, so it's nice to see one of my favorite pieces of my own being received so well! If you're curious, I pulled the cupcake from a sprite sheet for Kirby's Superstar for the SNES. I'm a big fan of pixels and a fan of the artist <a href="http://www.tfaoi.com/aa/5aa/5aa315.htm" rel="nofollow">Wayne Thiebaud</a>, so I combined them in this particular image.
