Happy Halloween

I had big plans to do a Halloween costume round-up *before* Halloween to give you all fabulous and geeky ideas for creating your own costumes. Life keeps getting in the way of blogging, but because I love you all, I’ve thrown together some recent finds. If you’ve seen anything recently that I’ve missed, post a comment with a link!

Chewbacca T-shirt

Ok, not really a craft, but if you’re lazy and a procrastinator, or just like to laugh, take a look at the Top 20 Halloween Costume T Shirts – for those times when you must dress up but just feel line wearing a tee. Many are quite geeky like the Chewbacca tee above.

Maybe these will give you some ideas on some to make yourself. (Do share!)

Triforce Pillow

Triforce Pillow

Craftster user BunnieBard posted this great knit Triforce pillow. She started out with a pattern from Coats UK. Zelda would be proud.

Dalek as Christmas Tree

Dalek as Christmas Tree

Geek Crafts reader and Etsy seller babywalls has these water-colored Christmas cards for sale. The Dalek from Dr. Who transforms quite well into a Christmas tree. (She also has some great fruit paintings – fruit amuses me to no end.)

Felt Robots

Felt Robots

Aren’t these felt robots by Craftster Flea great? They have so much personality. I love the way they look like they’re just hanging out. Being robots. You know how it is.

Amigurumi Mario

Amigurumi Mario

There’s a lot of cute things posted on Craftster tonight. For your geeky consideration, here is an Amigurumi Mario made by Catriunau. The embroidery floss mustache is really amusing me.
