As soon as I saw this Phantom of the Opera plushie, I fell in love. Created my Lita Mitchell of Custom UFO Catchers, this plushie even has a removable mask. Mitchell’s site has dozens upon dozens of custom dolls from every fandom one can imagine; she also accepts custom commission.
I dream of the day I have the spare money to buy one of my very own. Yes, I’m 23 years old and my fondest wish is to cuddle with this little plushie Phantom.
I have recently declared myself the Atari clothing and accessory expert on Geek Crafts, after having my essay on the above published in World Of Geekcraft by our own Susan Beal. That being true, I had to feature this Atari Freezer Paper Shirt made by Lucinda879 on Craftster. This was her first try, and it came out perfect, in my expert opinion.

My hometown weekly, the Portland Mercury, is sponsoring a new handmade geekcraft project contest (with a nice shoutout to geekcrafts.com, thank you very much!) over at their site this week – email in a photo of your favorite handmade project extraordinaire, and you could win a copy of World of Geekcraft, a POW! Okay, so I’ve never read any Stephen King books and have seen only a few movies. I don’t usually do scary and his work definitely qualifies as scary in my book (pun intended). But I just might have to read The Dark Tower because of this plushie Oy that Craftster user YumJello01 made for a Dark Tower swap. I love this so much! Is Oy good or evil? Do you think this will be too scary for me?
