Sometimes simple equals amazing, like this awesome Wario Costume that UpKnitCreek (love the screen name) posted on Craftster. She made it from purple, yellow and black fleece, polymer clay and “lots of love”, her husband even pitched in, making the nose and attaching the mustache to it. Pure geek Halloween gold.

This week she published the Alice Wrist Warmers pattern over at CRAFT:, inspired by the upcoming New Moon movie… these would be perfect to complete your Twilight-inspired Halloween costume in style!

Please excuse this brief interruption of Halloween costume ideas for this very cool comforter with Wind Waker Link from The Legend of Zelda. She pieced him together and then sewed him onto an existing comforter.
There’s a great thread of costumes on Craftster, which is where I found this Princess Zelda’s Magic Armor. bold_as_love made the armor for a friend and says:
