  1. I recently read the manga to discover if this anime is worth the hype, and in my opinion it is worth pursuing. For those who do not interpret any manga or know anything about it, Bakuman presents us a peek at the effort put into making one, and the strain and uncertainness a mangaka goes through. I feel Bakuman presents a pragmatic view of what goes on behind the scenes to make a manga, well as pragmatic as it can be given it is Shoujo and they need to prompt the narrative to keep it entertaining.
