Kelly Szpunar at HunkyDory comes up with the best stuff. When this originally landed in my inbox I was thrilled, then disappointed as Halloween was over and geek crafts had been pretty well costumed…but after some discussion, it was decided that these amazing Doctor Who Costumes were too cool to hang onto until next year. The Doctor is so well done! And the take on the Dalek is too cool, I love that it is an “outfit” made to look Dalek-y and not a full Dalek suit made of carboard and spray painted tennis balls! And the super Doctor Who geek in me is thrilled that someone went as a TARDIS, since the TARDIS is supposed to be a living entity, after all.
Comic Book Shoes
Craftster user VintageKitschMagpie got out the ModgePodge to decoupage these cute comic book shoes.
Watchmen Rorschach Cross-stitch
The detail is incredible in Craftster user Dark Seraphim‘s cross-stitch of Rorschach from Watchmen. I’m always impressed with large works of needlework.
The Office Schrute Farms Cross-stitch
Craftster user multibeavo cross-stitched her favorite quote from The Office about Dwight’s beet farm. I can just picture this hanging on his wall.

Ruth Suehle‘s amazing Red Queen costume for Dragon*Con,
thestamppit‘s super-creepy Coraline “Other Mother” costume for Dragon*Con,
and Bonnie Burton‘s fantastic Jabba the Hutt costume patrolling the halls at LucasFilm!
