Oh, how I miss Mystery Science Theater 3000: the bad movies, the spaceship shenanigans, the cute robots mouthing off.
Looks like I’m not the only one. Craftster member motoredxheart sculpted a wee polymer clay Tom Servo. I love how she used a clear bead to get just the right gumball machine-head look to him.
You can snag your own at her Etsy shop, Sweet Geek, and set him up in front of your iPod to heckle mini-sized movies.
Okay, this is geeky because… um, geeks have to eat, right? This wee polymer clay food from Craftster lyric889 is so cute I just had to share :)
In honor of Shayne’s Brain Slug post, here is another great one. Artist Lauren Swingle crafted these awesome Futurama Brain Slug Earrings from polymer clay to feature on TheClayCollection‘s etsy page. I love them because they are cute, lime green, and I just saw the brain slug episode yesterday! Perfect for any Futurama fan, and no risk of these little guys actually sucking your brain.
Sometimes simple equals amazing, like this awesome Wario Costume that UpKnitCreek (love the screen name) posted on Craftster. She made it from purple, yellow and black fleece, polymer clay and “lots of love”, her husband even pitched in, making the nose and attaching the mustache to it. Pure geek Halloween gold.
