TARDIS Purse

tardispurseThis was submitted to the site and I squeed out loud. Look at this purse! In all my years checking out geeky crafts, this is by far the best TARDIS yet! The attention to detail is incredible. I can only imagine how long it took Etsyer krukrustudio to make this! Be sure to check out their shop for more geeky bags including a Dalek and a Rubik’s Cube.

A Surprisingly Roomy Refrigerator

Well, everyone knows a TARDIS is bigger on the inside!

Until I saw this tweet yesterday, I did not realize that TARDIS fridges were a thing. Apparently they are. The internet is full of them. Or full of a few, at least. ThinkGeek makes a TARDIS minifridge, but I’m frankly far less impressed by this professionally-made product than the homebrew options. Some of them are just so cool!

So now you know: In addition to the many other things out there masquerading as TARDISes (and there are many), your fridge can join the action, too.

Dr. Who TARDIS in a Wormhole Afghan Tutorial

So, if you are a die-hard crocheter, you start thinking about Christmas presents in the summer.  You just have to.  I have a Dr. Who loving pal in my life, and I came across this great afghan by  Craftster user Brackish Potato.  It is inspired by the opening scene from Dr. Who where the TARDIS is floating through the time warp/wormhole thingie.

What a great idea right?  The afghan looks like it would work up pretty quickly since it’s just a repeating pattern.

TARDIS Key

As someone who recently bought a new house, I’ve been looking for some adorable and geeky ways to spruce up the place. Then today, I came across this adorable tutorial for a TARDIS key.

Haley from The Zen of Making posted this great step by step tutorial to create your very own TARDIS key. It’s a cheap and simple way to show your nerdy side and help keep your keys from getting mixed up.

After all, home is where the TARDIS is.

Catardis

How did I not know this was a thing? There’s a whole TARDIS Builders Forum. That is kinda rad. More specifically rad: this half-scale TARDIS user Astromark built for his very lucky cat, Kaylee. I just adopted a kitty myself (her name is Fiona and she’s adorable), and I totally want to build her a TARDIS now. Will I? Nooo. I have a bit much on my plate right now. Do I want to? Of course!
