enemyairship just posted for the first time on Craftster and she’s starting off good! She crocheted this 8-bit Mario Raccoon (my favorite Mario!) rug as a birthday present for her boyfriend. And it’s huge – 7 feet! Click through for some in progress photos as well as how she went about making this with granny squares.

Crocheted Pygmy Puffs

I am seeing so many cool Harry Potter crafts this week in honor of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince opening this week (which I will be watching in an hour – yea!!!!!!!). Craftster user norecliner, along with her mom and sister, crocheted a boxful of Pygmy Puffs and then handed them out at the movie theater! They used a pattern from Ravelry (not sure which one, so here’s a list) and did such a great job using different textured yarn.

Yarrrrrn Pirate Embroidered Knitting Tote

Yarn Pirate Embroidered Knitting Tote

Arrrgh. Pirate humor always amuses me, and this knitting tote with embroidery by Craftster user Urban Threads is no exception. She machine-embroidered the skull and knitting crossbones patch and attached it to a store-bought tote using Patch Attach glue.
