Honestly, there is no craft I have wanted to do at home more than this Time Machine posted by gmjhowe on Instructables. That is saying a lot since I love almost everything I come across on that site, but gmjhowe really put thought, time and coolness into this hand held “Vortex Distortion Space and Time Dilating Device”. Made from various materials including cardboard and “a lot of scrap and junk” he created the perfect, timeless, hand held Time Machine. Now, it’s not as roomy as the Tardis or as flashy as Bill & Ted’s phonebooth, but it’ll get you where you need to go and you’ll look good when you get there.
