Cosplay at Figments and Filaments in Kansas City
From furry foxes to partying princesses, there was nothing but costumes and cosplay at the second annual Figments and Filaments convention in Kansas City this past weekend.
This lovely Artemis was a cosplayed and volunteer for Amanda Lynn Chainmaille Creations.
And here are two more fabulous cosplayers from Amanda Lynn Chainmaille Creations, including Amanda herself (pictured on your left in the Bat Girl costume).
This 19th century gown was constructed by the cosplayer herself. I wish I’d gotten a picture of the back of the gown, because she managed to match the stripes in the most beautiful chevron pattern along the center back seam.
Here’s another example of the fine craftsmanship that was everywhere at Figments and Filaments.
This Klingon cosplayer came dressed differently every day of the convention, and what costume con would be complete without a Klingon?
There was SO MUCH to see, even though I was working my booth the entire weekend! So I’ll be posting more pictures next Monday, including some great, up close shots of the Iron Brothers of Topeka (some of the coolest cosplayers I’ve ever seen).
Until next week, try checking out these links of interest!
