Our first Weekend 10 installment is all about everyone’s favorite Star Wars droid, R2-D2.

2. R2-D2 PC Case Mod

The Contaminated posted this incredible R2-D2 case modification. Unfortunately, there’s no instructions or further information. Not that any of us mere mortals could duplicate this amazing feat of engineering anyway.

3. R2-D2 Beanie

Carissa Knit’s posted this R2-D2 beanie and even included the pattern so you can make your own.

4. R2-D2 Mailbox Papercraft

Star Wars Kids offers this downloadable R2-D2 paper mailbox. It’s great to use so all your Star Wars action figures have something to use to mail all their important Jedi packages.

5. R2-D2 Pinhole Camera

Flickr user bonniegrrl shares step-by-step instructions to make an R2-D2 shaped pinhole camera. Unfortunately, you can’t take 3D holograms of Princess Leia with it.

6. R2-D2 Finger Puppet

Etsy seller dingdongdesigns offers this knit R2-D2 finger puppet. Check out her other Star Wars crafts including Darth Vader and Yoda.

7. R2-D2 Christmas Ornament

Craftster user artoo1121 (also of the Lord of the Rings amigurumi) painted a round Christmas ornament to look like R2-D2. Any Star Wars fan would be proud to have it on his/her Christmas tree.

Craftster user mplsdeanna sewed her little guy an R2-D2 costume from polar fleece. What a cutie!

    This is great! Please tell me how you made this costume. My son wants to film a Star Wars movie (and his sister gets the part of R2D2)

    Yes, please share those costume instructions!!! My 6 year old is a huge fan and wants to be R2D2 for Halloween and this is the best costume I have seen. I hate to buy the generic store version when we could make something together and so much better!
