Bake It So.
Awesome. Redditor Tomaka made her friend this brilliant Captain Picard “Bake it so” apron. She’s not selling them, unfortunately (despite the pleas of similarly geek-minded Redditors), as she rather understandably doesn’t want to risk being sued. However, if you’re into screenprinting, you could easily whip up a similar design for yourself. Incidentally, this is now going to be my new catchphrase next time I bake a pie. (Yeah, I might be talking to myself, but the important thing is that I keep myself entertained, right?)
Hey! I really want to make this for my brother for his birthday. Huge Star Trek and baking fan. I’m not an image manipulating guru so I was wondering if your friend would be willing to share her outlined photo of Picard. I was going to print out the black outline onto imaging paper I can iron on to an apron I bought. Any help would be great!
Aw, sorry honey. I don’t know the person who made the apron; your best bet is to join reddit and contact the redditor who made it (http://www.reddit.com/user/tomaka). Maybe she’d be willing to provide the template for you. Otherwise your best bet is to copy the photo, open it in Photoshop or The Gimp, switch it to black and white, and massively up the contrast. I hope that helps!
