You don’t have to make an army of them, but why wouldn’t you? Check out this free crochet pattern, designed by Adorably Kawaii on Craftsy. It’s a beginner level pattern with pictures, and did I mention it’s free? I imagine it would be a great scrap buster too, and it would be easy enough to replace the safety eyes with buttons if that’s what you’ve got on hand.
My son has played a wide variety of games over the years, but one that keeps showing up on his birthday and Christmas wishlists is Pathfinder. He almost always has some miniatures or modules he’s been eyeing. I may just have to surprise him with one of these Pathfinder goblin amigurumi.
Amanda at Xanthestar Customs has come up with a clever crochet doll version that can be cute, or add angry eyebrows and wide felt chompers for a more creepy, menacing look (as depicted above).

I’m not exactly sure what a zombiebot is, but it sure is cute. Check out this free crochet pattern available on CraftFoxes.com, sourced from a super cute book (Crobots: 20 Amigurumi Robots to Make, by Nelly Pailloux).
I like this kind of pattern. It offers up instructions for you to make the zombiebot as is, or if you’re feeling daring, you can mix things up with different colors, “injuries”, stitches, and embellishments. Just think, you can crochet your own army of crobots as you plan world domination!

I actually came across Wolfdreamer‘s crochet patterns a few years ago, and I think they’re fantastic. This gorgeous Cyndaquil just popped up on my pinterest and I had to share it, as well as her other patterns, with you all. She not only has dozens of free Pokémon crochet patterns, she also has patterns for Sonic the Hedgehog, Mario Bros, and lots of other wonderful characters to crochet. La Chapa, a self described, “hardcore yarnie” from California made an incredible Creature from the Black Lagoon amigurumi.
She made him made this for the lovely kittykill in the Vintage Halloween Swap last year on Craftster. Check out her series of photos of him…he’s even got scales down his back and tiny little claws! Unfortunately, he’s going to be a OOAK toy, because La Chapa said she didn’t write down any notes when she was making him, so he can’t be recreated again in all his scaly, yarny glory.
When I was a kid, I was pretty scared during the scene when the Wampa attacks Luke in “The Empire Strikes Back,” but who could be scared of this little guy? Hook yourself up with this great amigurumi Wampa pattern from Ana at MysteriousCats.
