Craftster user Krafty_Karasu cross-stitched this handy needle book to look like the cover of New Moon.
I hate the smell of pumpkin so I was thrilled to see such a long thread on Craftster (and a couple other places) of jack o’ lanterns that I don’t have to look at in person. Here are the geekiest:

2. Carl Sagan by Kirk Mona on Twins City Naturalist

Craftster member thestamppit made an ingenious Other Mother costume for this year’s Dragon*Con — love the details!
She mentioned on this “Other Mother” costume thread on Craftster that she attached the large buttons with spirit gum and she could see through the button holes… very cool. Her friend has a fantastic Bellatrix LeStrange costume as well — what a great pair of sinister characters from two of my all-time favorites, Coraline and Harry Potter.
When Craftster user BugPop and her flatmate were invited to a cartoon character party, she made these fun Thing One and Thing Two costumes from Dr. Suess’ The Cat in the Hat. I want to go to a party like that!
