K-9 Papercraft Model
In honor of Doctor Who airing in the US last night, I decided to post this K-9 Papercraft Model that Tektonten built and featured on his blog. He got the slightly improved pattern from Huxter, which you can find here.

Craftster user, Kirsa, crocheted this adorable Darth Vader Amigurumi as a Christmas gift for her nephew. The coolest thing about this Darth Vader is the detail on his chest and…his helmet is removable! (Okay, so I lied, the coolest thing about him is that I got to use “adorable” and “Darth Vader” together in a sentence).
I love our twitter followers. Ageekmom retweeted a link to this amazing website from her twitter-buddy, geekygirlau, and I was totally amazed by what I found. The picture above is a paper model of a Challenger STS-51L by Tomys from Prague, Czech Republic. You read that right, PAPER. This amazing website is full of incredibly detailed, incredibly realistic scale models made from paper. I can’t even begin to tell you how cool I think these AXM Paper Space Scale Models are.
“Half-Life” and “adorable” in the same sentence? Yes! Thanks to Craftster user Kochopia who made this adorable Gordon Freeman plushie from Half-Life. Love all the details!
I’m loving this new Mistle-TIE Fighter holiday craft project from Bonnie Burton — awesome!
And this embroidered Darth Vader ornament from blackrose1151 on Etsy is one of my favorite things ever. I ordered two of them last year — one for me, and one for my nephew who loves Star Wars as much as I do — and mine is on my tree right now! Maybe I’ll get each of us another one of her other Star Wars ornaments this year to keep up our tradition…
Craftster user Malinki sewed these adorable felt robots for her boyfriend. The arms, legs and even the mouth on the big robot are even adjustable!
