Here’s a great Star Trek costume for the ladies from Craftster user AnOrangeMouse. I’ll admit that I’m not a huge Star Trek fan, but for some reason I *love* the uniforms and images in general, from the original TV show.

Crafster user brunette_bombshell made this Princess Leia slave costume to wear to Indy Con and cleverly used polymer clay for all of the metal parts.
Two years ago, CRAFT: did a fun round-up of quick and easy Halloween costumes to make for kids, and Diana Eng made a fantastic Lego costume out of a cardboard box!
You could easily adapt this to an adult size, or make a whole flock of them in different colors for you and your friends — and how cute would a toddler be Lego-ized?

I love themed rooms and this crime scene bathroom by Craftster user blitzkriegbetty is quite creepy. She planned the “‘accuracy’ of my splatters, I use to watch a lot of the criminal shows CSI, Law & Order, NCSI (and I mean A LOT) so I’ve already got my arterial spray, cast-off, and all that good stuff planned out =D” and used a real knife for that towel holder. Every once in awhile I scan cakewrecks in an effort to feel better about my cake decorating abilities, and come up short because they have chosen to post something like this Star Wars Baby Shower Cake made by Woulett Bakery. Honestly? I don’t have words other than: pure, deep fried, golden, awesome. The perfect geeky shower cake for the Dark-Side loving expectant parent in your life.
Craftster user Rinnial made this Star Fleet uniform for her little girl. I would love to see a whole shipful of toddlers running around in any uniform. She sewed a “…circa 2366-2372 class A uniform (or Star Trek: The Next Generation, season 3-7) with appropriate insignia for a commander…” The insignia is done with fabric paint.
