R2D2, where are you?
One of my all time favorite Star Wars characters is a certain feisty, little robot. R2D2 is plucky, unstoppable “bucket of bolts” who wins our hearts without ever saying a word. On Craftster, StickerChic87 created a fantastic R2D2 mini art quilt.
Who wouldn’t love to have this little guy hanging on a wall in their house?
Nerdy Lockets – Flickr Friday
This week’s Flickr Friday is brought to you by this plethora of awesome nerdy lockets by Flickr-er Ursula and Olive. I don’t know how they make them, but I know they’re epic!
Humble Indie Bundle V
Humble Indie Bundle V (pay what you want and choose where the money goes) is out and includes an incredible assortment of DRM-free, award-winning, cross-platform games like Psychonauts, Limbo, Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP and Amnesia: The Dark Descent, as well as the soundtracks for each game. If that’s not enough to entice you, pay more than the average (currently $8.17 as I write this) and get Bastion, Lone Survivor, Braid, and Super Meat Boy.
This is an incredible deal and if you haven’t bought it yet, you’ll kick yourself later. Go now (valid for only six more days) and buy some games, support indie developers, and donate some money to charity. Below is the Humble Indie Bundle V trailer to further entice you. I bought mine last week and do not regret it one bit.

Oh Instructables, you never disappoint…

There’s not much else to say really… GIANT LEGO SKELETON… beats garden gnomes and fake flamingoes any day…
Game of Thrones Cookbook
I don’t know about you, but I love having friends over and cooking up something delicious… I just do. I discovered that some of my husband’s co-workers are big Game of Thrones fans (as am I), so I invited them over and scoured the internet for Game of Thrones inspired recipes. I came across this website, Inn at the Crossroads, that has loads of recipes all based on foods mentioned in the actual book series (i.e. lemon cakes, Sansa salad, beef and barley stew). They recently published the official Game of Thrones cookbook, A Feast of Ice & Fire. I don’t have it yet, but I kind of want it because who doesn’t like to eat some medieval-inspired grub every now and then?
