Mardi Gras is tomorrow, and who doesn’t love Mardi Gras? It’s Halloween for grown ups! A holiday to celebrate partying! You can’t go out for Mardi Gras with out three key ingredients 1)A willingness to have fun 2) A bunch of fun beads and, most importantly, 3)Your Mardi Gras Mask (what happens on Bourbon Street may stay there, but the local bar doesn’t always follow the same rules!).

Ofenjen at sewhooked had a predicament. Her daughter needed a Harry Potter inspired bedroom, and in order to have that, she needed a four poster bed with the school colors draped luxuriously around. Her daughter’s bedroom posed two small problems. There was a ceiling fan in it, and it was too small for a four poster bed anyway. Ofenjen did what any self respecting crafter would do…
She created her own version of a Gryffindor Bed Canopy using lightweight (and inexpensive) PVC pipe that she could affix to her daughter’s wall. Beautiful!
I just found this adorable book by Craftster user boadicea. She used two old memory cards as covers and bound her pages with jump rings. I love tiny things!
