I immediately fell in love with this Star Wars Solids Quilt that Emily of Creative Chicks at Play made for her son’s 12th birthday. The front is amazing, and the back is a killer Star Wars sheet – plus her long-arm quilter inscribed “May The Force Be With You” into the quilting!
Man I wish I could draw. Then I could try to make these for myself! cakewalkqueen made a pair of Exploding TARDIS sneakers using sharpies! She based them on a pair she saw on Etsy that feature Van Gogh’s drawing of the TARDIS exploding from the Doctor Who episode “The Pandorica Opens”. One shoe says “The pandorica will open” on the outside and the other says “Silence will fall”.
If there are two things I love, they are Apple products and Iron Man. John from Macbook Pro Decal sent me this awesome combination of the two and I can’t wait to get my new Macbook and stick this baby on! The site also has decals featuring Captain America, Batman, circuit boards, and all variations of awesome!
Anonymityblaize crafted this super-cool lamp, featuring some of our favourite ships from Star Trek, Star Wars and Dr Who (as well as other things) and yes I’m referring tot he TARDIS as a ship here, you got a problem with that?! :-)
This is certainly the type of thing that’s bound to get the discussion-ball-rolling at house parties and family gatherings, as well as just being a genuinely AWESOME piece of functional decor.
Allons-y! Craftster user pickled_peppers made this 1/3 scale model amigurumi of the tenth Doctor— complete with red converse and double hearts (his hair is perfect too)! Ten is my Doctor, so I really love this. There are more pictures in her post (including one “with” the Doctor). She’s working on a pattern, for those of use who want their very own huggable David Tennant.
When sci-fi geekery meets ink cartridges and a little creativity, it turns into some really amazing art! Artist Faith Pearson made scenes from sci-fi movies and tv shows using a ton of empty ink cartridges donated by Ink and Media Ltd.
