Brain Bracelet
Wearing your heart on your sleeve is so cliche. How about wearing your brain on your wrist?
Amy Sweetman’s store, Anatomology, is chock-full of gorgeous anatomy-inspired jewelry, such as this eye-catching brain bracelet.
What intrigues me the most is the unique magnet-based clasp, which is designed to keep the charm from drooping on the delicate silver-plated chains.
This line wasn’t born out of a gothic obsession with human organs, though. Sweetman, a professor of psychology with a focus on neuroscience, created the collection as a way to heal from a devastating breakup.
Her works centers on the heart, brain, and spine, and each piece of jewelry comes with an inspiring message such as courage, integrity, or harmony.

Tweet-A-Pot
I don’t know why I don’t spend more time trolling Instructables for things that make my inner geek jump for joy. Instructables user, Frenzy, has designed and programmed this flipping amazing, worship worthy, friend to any technologically adept coffee addict, Tweet-A-Pot. Using an every day drip coffee maker, an alternate Twitter account, and computer know how, he has made it possible to tweet your coffee pot and tell it to brew, no matter where you are, and Frenzy is so kind as to give you a full, detailed lesson on how to do it for yourself. I find this almost as amusing, and much more useful than the other Twitter-related Instructable I found, on how to Give Your Cat Twitter Powers.
Apollo: Lunar Landing Journal
I’m a huge fan of Ex Libris Anonymous journals made from vintage books – I used one to make a family cookbook, and the custom one I got at Summit of Awesome is my craft projects journal. This Apollo: Lunar Landing journal up for grabs now is particularly awesome.
