So sometimes I like to fantasize about the things that I would put in my house if I actually owned one, and this might be on the top of the list for my son’s room if not the whole house because they are just soooo cool. I mean who doesn’t love arcade buttons? They’re handmade, and I just think you couldn’t get a kick out of these every time you turned your lights on or off. Check out this crocheted creeper! I love the colours and it’s expression. Don’t you wish you had a creeper to snuggle up with? I bet it would protect you pretty well at night from, well, creepers.
I stumbled on this little video by Marcus and Hannes Knutsson on Youtube and I knew I had to share it. I can’t even fathom how long it must have taken to put this together with all of the animation involved using perler beads. There are a few different similar videos by the same makers floating around Youtube, but I haven’t yet found a dedicated channel for them.

The carnivorous baddie has gotta be one of the most recognisable gamer-geek icons, having been in use since Super Mario Bros first hit the shops in 1985, so the earrings have a cool retro sort of vibe, announcing to the world your NES roots.
I’m always impressed by anyone who can sculpt, especially on such a teeny tiny scale, and these little monsters are so well made that you’d never guess they were hand crafted from polymer clay.
Creator Liz is obviously a real Nintendo gal, her Etsy shop LizGlizz is packed with Mario, Pokémon & Zelda paraphernalia and well worth checking out. Her shop is pretty low on stock at the moment, following the Christmas rush, but she’s crafting as I type, so I suggest you get bookmarking to be first in line once they’re back in store.
I suspect winters in Durotar are about as mild as the one I’ve been experiencing in the DC area lately. It has been positively tropical, which is a little wonderful and a little weird for a Chicago native such as myself. In truth, the only bad thing about the warm weather is the fact that I can’t floss cute hats, like the one submitted by Moxley on Craftster.
The logo on this hat is perfect and must have been a real how-do-you-do to have knit so deftly. My troll mage would luuurve the cute lil’ pom on the top, matching her hair to perfection. Excellent work, Moxley!
