Craftster user and youtuber MeiIris made her Dad an adorable polymer clay Superman keyring/key-chain, and her video tutorial is just downright sparkly and beautiful.

Lubu Polymer Clay Robots

lubu robotsNothing says a geeky “I love you” like a personal robot. Especially when that robot is a super-kawaii version of your favorite pop culture icon.

Etsy shop Lubu has dozens of adorable polymer clay robots fit for every nerd and movie buff, from Star Wars poster boy Vader to The Hangover’s Alan and baby Carlos. There’s even a team of awesome Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

As if these weren’t cute enough on their own, Jenn and Tony Bot (the team behind Lubu) staged some classic movie scenes with their robots, including Return of the Jedi, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and — my personal favorite — The Exorcist.

As Lubu’s profile promises, your eyes will be bleeding rainbows by the time you’re done taking in all the cuteness!

"Polymer Clay Nerdy Robot"I am absolutely smitten with the polymer clay robots that Lisastarchild hand sculpts, especially this fabulous nerd love one! I came across her SleepyRobot13 shop on Etsy and fell in love. Her robot creations are charming and have wide ranging appeal to all sorts of nerds and geeks. She makes everything from a Batman Robot to a Zombie Robot. The Super Hero Robot (with glow-in-the-dark underpants!) and the 3-D Movie Robot are also adorable!

Oh, how I miss Mystery Science Theater 3000: the bad movies, the spaceship shenanigans, the cute robots mouthing off.

Looks like I’m not the only one. Craftster member motoredxheart sculpted a wee polymer clay Tom Servo. I love how she used a clear bead to get just the right gumball machine-head look to him.

You can snag your own at her Etsy shop, Sweet Geek, and set him up in front of your iPod to heckle mini-sized movies.
