Tutorial: Pin Cushion for a Zombie

Do you know a zombie who is into sewing? Do any of your undead friends keep losing all their needles? Well, you can make a Brain Shaped Pin Cushion for your crafty cadaver, armed only with some thick cord, scrap material, and basic sewing skills!

This tutorial over at Tiny Little Life actually makes use of a Hilbert Curve to make the general brain pattern, which is great because this make is not only nerdy in a WE LOVE ZOMBIES kind of way, but also in a smart WE LOVE MATHS kind of way too. I’m sure if David Hilbert were among the walking dead today he would be most pleased with this use of his design.

Zombie Flats

Using just markers, gel pens, nail polish, and a couple other items, troberts8 created these awesome zombie flats. I think they’re adorable in a creepy sort of way, and they’re practical too (I think they just might confuse oncoming zombies into thinking you’re already dead). While I don’t have the artistic ability to make them, I’m certain there are those of you out there who would be entirely able to paint zombie toes on shoes. Plants Vs Zombies Paper Toys

Plants Vs Zombies has been released for the BlackBerry Z10! And I have a BlackBerry Z10! So guess who’s been spending all of her (precious little) free time yelling at zombies?

These Plants vs. Zombies paper toys are probably going to be my next obsession. Paper crafting is super fun! It’s inexpensive, relatively easy to make, and there are oodles of awesome patterns out there…like these cuties from Mayainpaper! There are downloadable patterns for quite a few plants and zombies, but I think Crazy Dave might actually be my favorite.
