I posted about my favorite Star Wars ornament last year, and since then I’ve added two more blackrose1151 ornaments to my collection as a Christmas present to myself. I snapped this picture of all three of them on my tree this week – they’re already my two-year-old’s favorites too. Happy holidays, everyone!
I don’t like to play favorites, but I always get excited when I see a submission from our self proclaimed number one fan, Dawn Crawford. She and her equally geektastic husband, Brian, participate in the annual Bordo Bello Skateboard Art Fundraiser, last year, we featured her husband’s amazing Space Invaders Star Wars Mashup Skateboard (it lit up!) and this year, I couldn’t help myself when I saw this R2 Board2 on her blog.

Friend of geekcrafts Bonnie Burton is teaching a rad craft demo: make a paper-bag puppet of Admiral Akbar from her new Star Wars Craft Book. I went to her Yoda doll demo at Maker Faire a couple of years ago and it was amazing!
Meanwhile, Particle Zoo will have her excellent subatomic particle plushies for sale in the Bazaar Bizarre section. Her motto: It has to be scientifically accurate, and it has to be cute. (Thanks Rachel!)
I love Big Bang Theory. Anything that brings uber-geekiness into living rooms across America is good in my book, and the characters are awesome. If you’re like me, your eyes always catch Wolowitz’s crazy belt buckles, Rachel at In The Happily Ever After was so inspired by Wolowitz’s wardrobe that she made this Star Wars Wolowitz Belt.
