GeekCrafts Submission: Harry Potter Sharpie Mug
We received this as a submission, and what a cute project! I had no idea you could decorate ceramic coffee mugs with regular Sharpies! I love how bright the colors turned out and the adorable little Harry Potter face (complete with mini Gryffindor scarf collar!).
What would you draw on your coffee mug? A Star Trek insignia? The Star Wars Rebel Alliance logo? A couple of Portals?

Needle Felted Harry Potter Cover
Check out this unbelievable Kindle cover! Flickr-er Almost Summer needlefelted this and the attention to detail is fantastic!
I can only imagine how long this must have taken her and she didn’t even keep it! That is a fabulous friend. My favourite part is the sky. It looks great!

Harry Potter Crochet Sorting Hat
Back in the day, the Warner Brothers site had an interactive game where you could answer a series of questions, and it would sort you into the appropriate Hogwarts’ house. It only took me about four tries to finally get into Gryffindor. :)
Perhaps you will get sorted there more quickly with this crochet Harry Potter-inspired Sorting Hat from Allison Hoffman at CraftyIsCool. I love how she was able to “sort out” the face on the hat – she really is a genius when it comes to crochet!

Harry Potter Advent Calendar
What I’d like to show you guys today is this amazing Harry Potter advent calendar made by Missing Willow.
Each drawer contains an item, note about the item and a small treat/sweet. It also has a small cupboard to put the trinkets in as each day passes which is a great idea to collect them all up watching the days tick closer to Christmas!

So I post this with trepidation this week because it seems like one of those things that should have been posted on this blog a long time ago.
