Pet Semetary Cross Stitch Sampler

Pet Semetary Cross Stitch Sampler

I’m a HUGE Stephen King fan, so of course I was super-stoked to hear about the new tv show Under The Dome. I loved the book (which, by the way, is also HUGE), and when I heard that Hank from Breaking Bad (Dean Norris) was playing the baddie I was super-duper stoked!

Unfortunately, the internet says that there aren’t any Under The Dome crafts (Let’s try to remedy that, shall we?), so we’ll just have to make do with a Pet Semetary craft for the time being (and by “make do” I mean “this is awesome”). Emily of Pyro Dog Pins is the genius behind this cross stitch sampler, and the pattern is available for purchase at her Etsy shop.

Link’s Awakening Sprite Stitch

links awakening sprite stitch

Crafting and 8-bit video games are a perfect combination. You can use beading, quilting, and of course, cross stitching to spark a bit of life in your favorite characters.

At Sprite Stitch, it’s all about geeky stitching. User caslzelda created this scene from Link’s Awakening. I love the colored heart in the center of the piece.

Wreck-It Ralph Cross Stitch

Wreck-It Ralph Cross Stitch
Wreck-It Ralph is a delightfully geeky movie about a video game bad guy who just wants to be a hero.  It’s one of my most favorite movies, and I’m always looking for craft projects that are Wreck-It Ralph themed.  I stumbled across this awesome pattern last week, and plan on getting started on a bad-guy affirmation of my own soon.
