Lisa Ashby of the Modern Homemaker posted a tutorial of this Pee Wee Herman stencil she made with contact paper. Anyone got any Pee Wee Herman costumes?

Knitter extraordinaire Vickie Howell has designed not one but two awesomely geeky sets of wrist warmers, and both patterns are free online! This week she published the Alice Wrist Warmers pattern over at CRAFT:, inspired by the upcoming New Moon movie… these would be perfect to complete your Twilight-inspired Halloween costume in style!
And her Mario Mushroom Wrist Warmers are a favorite from last year that are just the thing to knit up as the temperature drops. This pattern is available in kids’, women’s or men’s sizes and includes a handy (and cute) charted image for creating your mushroom.
Another *cute* Cthulhu, but here is one from Craftster user FicklePegasus. She crocheted this baby blanket complete with pacifier holder. And in case you were thinking Cthulhu for Halloween, don’t forget this costume.
Please excuse this brief interruption of Halloween costume ideas for this very cool comforter with Wind Waker Link from The Legend of Zelda. She pieced him together and then sewed him onto an existing comforter.
This monster hat would make a great Halloween costume for a little one – just pair it with some purple or pink sweats. Buy it on Etsy from Shelina.
There’s a great thread of costumes on Craftster, which is where I found this Princess Zelda’s Magic Armor. bold_as_love made the armor for a friend and says:
The whole thing was made with craft foam, gold spray paint, jewels, and closes in the back with a gold chain so that it can be more fitted to the wearer. I use this tuttorial http://www.entropyhouse.com/penwiper/costumes/helmsdeep.html. Which was amazing, althouhg I did skip a few steps.
