Maybe it’s because I just watched “Pretty in Pink” but I am feeling the eighties right now, and what’s more eighties than an Atari related craft? Nothing. Nothing at all. I found the link to this totally retro Atari Joystick Lamp via Crafty Crafty, which led me to one of my new favorite sites, Instructables.
The lamp is made to look just like a gargantuan Atari joystick, and the shade is made up of images from game cartridges. Freaking awesome!

Hooks and Needles posted this Futurama inspired Gender Bender Amigurumi on Whip Up. I wish I had words to describe how funny and absolutely genius this Bender doll is! Even people who don’t even watch Futurama were falling out of their chairs laughing when I passed this photo around!
