Minipoppy over at Whimsical Frippery recently made a Topsy Turvy Star Wars doll of both Yoda and Darth Vader. These are dolls that are heads on both ends, with a long dress to cover up the fact that they have no feet. Check out the entry so you can see a video that will show you how big the doll is.
Jewel Staite, who played Kaylee Frye on “Firefly” and “Serenity” was in Kansas City for Planet Comicon this weekend, and a local movie theatre took advantage and showed “Serenity”, followed by a short Q&A with her. As Browncoats, my husband, daughter and I were pleased to attend.

While dressing up for Halloween is my all-time favorite part, making scary Halloween food runs a close second. Many people know about using spagetti for guts and peeled grapes for eyeballs, but my favorite is making Zombie eyes (aka deviled eggs with green food coloring and red squiggles on the egg whites and a black olive slice on the yolks).
