Craftster user WolfDreamer had planned to make this for a few years and posted it just in time for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 27th anniversary. This is based on the original series Michelangelo. I love his nunchucks! There’s a free pattern on her blog, and it can be modified to make any of the turtles. Raphael was always my favorite, what about you?
Allons-y! Craftster user pickled_peppers made this 1/3 scale model amigurumi of the tenth Doctor— complete with red converse and double hearts (his hair is perfect too)! Ten is my Doctor, so I really love this. There are more pictures in her post (including one “with” the Doctor). She’s working on a pattern, for those of use who want their very own huggable David Tennant.
Now you can have everyone’s favourite elder god in plushie form. He’ll protect you from the monsters in your closet and under your bed while you sleep.
You can have him made in any colour you can imagine. You even make him sparkly! Sparklethulhu!

I know the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett has dedicated fans (there’s some overlap with fans of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy–which is how I heard about Discworld) and this amigurumi proves it! I haven’t read the series (yet. The Colour of Magic is on my bookcase), but this makes me want to even more. PlanetJune decided to make this epic Discworld after making a sea turtle: “I spent hours studying, sketching, simplifying and photoshopping the Discworld Mapp so I could recreate it in cotton yarn”. I’m so glad she did! AND she has the approval of Mr.Sir Prachett himself!
I have seen a lot of amigurumi in my day, even made a few myself, but this Bob-Omb by NerdJerk is one of the best!
From the curly fuse to the awesome turn key, this Bob-Omb is sure to be a smash hit for any Mario fan in your life.
