Nibbling on Your Earlobes
Or, more accurately, I guess you could describe this chain chomp cuff earring as chomping on your earlobe. Or gnawing. It also looks like it might be doing that. Regardless of the terminology, it’s pretty cute.

Despite not being a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (my three-word review: stylish but banal), I absolutely see the appeal of these shoes. They’re nicely done and hilarious. You can buy practically any MLP design, but why would you? It’s Derpy Hooves or nothing, dude. Oh, right—in a nod to the bronies out there, artist Rhonda Savage makes the shoes in any size and in an assortment of styles. Perfect for MLP fans of any age, foot size, or gender.
I know we’ve seen crocheted brain slugs on Geek Crafts before, but this one from Knitnut by JL is the cutest yet! Not only is it itty-bitty (and therefore adorable), it’s a hair clip, so you never have to worry about you losing your parasitic accessory.
If only I had my sewing machine in my possession (I lent it to a friend) and a place to set it up, I might have given this a shot! See, deciding to work with my hair (it’s pink), I opted for a pink-hair-friendly Halloween costume and am currently sitting in my office dressed as Ramona Flowers. I went the easy route and bought a pre-made star purse, but how awesome would it have been if I’d bought this pattern and made my own bag with a star I could swap out in any color? That woulda been pretty sweet….
If I’m up to it in the future (or you want to give it a shot prior to next Halloween or any impending cons or costume parties), you can pick up the pattern from Haley’s Wonderful Distractions.
Oh, and happy Halloween!
I love tiny things and I love Star Wars and I therefore find this Tatooine Terrarium terribly endearing. In fact, I rather like a bunch of The Wonder Room‘s offerings. Need a teeny Stonehenge? They’ve got it. A mini Moai? Got that, too. Also, unicorns!
I’ve been a tweetin’ fool today, so these Twitter stud earrings by Dahlia Shamir particularly resonate. They are simple, cute without being cutesy, obviously relevant to my interests, and perfectly affordable. Wish I’d been wearing these all day instead of dangly vintage clip-ons; those were murder on the lobes!
