Nightmare Before Christmas Print
One of the best movies of my generation is Nightmare Before Christmas.
Artist SakuraCherrie manages to capture all the beauty and essence of the film with this ink drawing.

Craftster user kirastorm put together this mini Nightmare Before Christmas-themed tree with “two packages of plain ball ornaments and painted them in plain black, black and white spirals or Jack the pumpkin kings face.”
Crafster user twonderland painted Jack and Sally freehand with a toothpick for this Nightmare Before Christmas pumpkin! Awesome!
Here’s another cool Nightmare Before Christmas costume – Oogie Boogie. Craftster user ashleyjustine sewed this out of burlap and padded it with polyester fiber fill. She posted another picture showing the insects she added coming out of him, but because I’m terrified at the mere image of bugs, you’ll have to click through for that one.
These Nightmare Before Christmas costumes are so cool I let out a string of expletives when I saw them on Craftster. Suzhy made these Jack Skellington and Sally costumes for her sister and herself to wear to the Elf Fantasy Fair in The Netherlands. Definitely click through to see more photos and read all about how she made these. The only part she didn’t make herself was Jack’s gloves!
I’ve been hoping to find a really good Coraline craft for awhile (of course, I wasn’t really looking that hard). Let’s face it, Coraline in 3-D, Coraline by Neil Gaiman, Coraline directed by Henry Sellick (the same guy who did Nightmare Before Christmas), I can’t think of anything about Coraline that doesn’t scream “I belong on Geek Crafts!”. And now, thanks to huggiepeelow posting this amazing If Coraline Were Real Polymer Doll, Coraline is on Geek Crafts, the world is right, and I finally have an excuse to write about Neil Gaiman. How wonderful!
