Our first Christmas-themed craft! Craftster user Ilia sewed Star Trek stockings out of fleece and canvas. She was kind enough to share a link to a free stocking pattern.
Yea! More monsters! This monster bag if from Craftster averyg. She says, “Once upon a time, almost one year ago, I made a monster bag. This was no ordinary monster bag, as this monster bag was a very special boy. This monster bag was HUGE- the hugest monster bag around… How huge you may ask? SO huge that he could easily gobble up 3 laptops, a couple textbooks AND still be hungry…”
So now that you’ve stuffed your face, it’s time to empty your wallet! Or, if you’re looking to save some cash, it’s time to get crafting! In honor of Black Friday (the shopaholic’s national holiday and every retail worker’s worst nightmare) here are some Black Crafts (note: not Dark Arts, that’s a differnent blog all together).
Chain Chomp Hat
The Knitting Ninja posted this Chain Chomp Hat on her blog. Chomps may not be the most commonly knitted Mario Bros villian, but they are the ones that look the coolest when they appear to be eating your head.
Mad Dog Softie
Morus sewed this Mad Dog Softie from the book “Softies Only A Mother Could Love” and posted it on craftster. He’s not particularly geeky, but he’s freaking adorable in an “I’m gonna bite your face off” sort of way.
Craftster user Id sewed these cool Resident Evil felt hand grenades. Best part? “Original plan was to use metal keyrings for the pull rings, but I wanted something I could safely hurl at the TV when stupid things come on.”
Craftster user loveandasandwich makes plush monsters and this time she’s made an entire monster family. That’s mom in the middle. Check out her Etsy shop for more monster fun.
