I Heart Math Bag
Can you get any geekier than carrying a bag that says “I Heart Math”? Craftster user Casstasstrophie created her own rubber stamp and applied it to these cross body hipster bags that she sewed for a swap.
Make Your Own Gandalf Hat
Seems like the people in my house aren’t the only people enjoyingthe Lord of the Rings marathon airing on TNT this weekend. I mentioned it on Twitter and got several “@replies” that they were all doing the same. So in the spirit of the twelve straight hours of Lord of the Rings, I thought it might be fun to share a little how-to Make Your Own Gandalf Hat. Sally Pointer, hostess of the Pointy Hat Gallery, has featured this great Gandalf hat, complete with a little how to linked here. A list of supplies includes heavy weight felt, a sewing machine and patience (perhaps you could do this project while watching twelve straight hours of Frodo’s adventures?).
Viking Dolls
I am in love with these Viking Dolls from Craftster user Zelda.Suicide. She sewed these, inspired by artist Sandra Monat, for a swap. Love them!
Meatwad Pillow
Here’s a great Aqua Teen Hunger Force craft from Craftster user lilninjabear. She sewed this Meatwad pillow for her boyfriend. So simple, yet so awesome!
Domo-kun Sewing Machine Cover
I love love love Domo-kun. This fuzzy brown monster provides me with endless amusement (yes, I’m that easily amused), so I’m quite giggly over this sewing machine cover from Craftster user asl1429. Admit it. You’re giggling too.
