Dr. Who is a new and an old classic, kinda like Battlestar Galactica. It has a loyal following of thousands and thousands of fans. So is it surprising that some of these fans have made crafts to honor their favorite TV show? I think not. Here you will find some of the various Dr. who crafts we were able to find on the interwebz. Enjoy the geeky craftiness…
CraftZine posted this Tardis cake from Craftster user Umbrolly earlier this week. This inspired me to look for all these great Dr. Who crafts.
Geek Crafts reader Kat sent us a link to her awesome blog of video game sprite t-shirts that she hand-paints as gifts for friends. She specializes in NES sprites. I am *so* impressed with how crisp and precise her painting is. I think the Bubble Bobble guy is my favorite.
This weekend we’re taking a look at crafts based on old-school Nintendo controllers. (We’ll look at mod-ed controllers another week.)
Etsy seller Lost Mitten has this one-of-a-kind business card holder available in her shop. Made of fused Perler beads, this will look great on any geek’s desk.
I happened to visit NerdyShirts tonight at just past midnight EST and saw they were having a $1 sale! I picked up two Don’t Hate The Player tees and one (misprint) Free Hugs tee. $3 plus $8 shipping so $11 total for three t-shirts! SWEET!
They say they are doing this all week with new items each day!
