Tetris Table

Today I want to show you this amazing Tetris Side Table made by Annahowardshaw from Instructables.

The whole table is made from scratch and we are given the complete tutorial so you can create your own piece of retro geek furniture. The Tetris pieces are made from wooden cubes stuck together, sanded and painted. They are then glued on to the table after arranging them carefully.

All Your Blogs Are Belong To Us.

Greetings fellow geek crafters. I am one of you newest bloggers to join the team. My name is Meghan and I am a geek, borderline nerd, with 4 kids, and I can’t stop crafting.  I make ridiculous things all the time, especially while watching cartoons.  Here is a sample of one my my most ambitious geek crafts, The Periodic Table of Elements in cross stitch. It took me a long time, like all the episodes of  Firefly, Futurama (twice) and Home Movies to complete. I designed the pattern using KXStitch, which is an awesome Linux program you must check out.

I’m super excited to scour the blog-o-sphere, in search of the greatest and geekiest crafts I can find, plus a few of my own, and to share them with you.

You can check out some of the other geeky things I’ve done on Instructables as Domestic_engineer.

Tutorial Tuesday/Reader Submission! Playable NES Controller Coffee Table!!

I saw this on Sprite Stitch a while back, but eagle eyed reader Brian used the “Submit a GeekCraft” link to point us towards the original source. Thanks Brian!

I’m counting it as a tutorial because Ultra Awesome Blogger Kyle has kept Ultra Awesome detailed records of every step of the process… seriously … THIS is the pinnacle of geek craftyness… I NEED one of these for my living room…(I don’t think my Husb0t would trust me with power tools.. I don’t think I would trust me with power tools…)
