When you’ve more or less been in school in some capacity since 1980, as I have been, your final month of coursework — ever– is a really big deal. That is what April 2012 is for me, my final month of classes! Much of that graduate work has been done while working full time and trying to keep a few hobbies around for sanity. Once these classes are over, I’ve got so many pent-up hobby desires to unleash. On the top of that list: amigurumi! And I can’t think of a nicer bunch of characters I want to give yarn-birth to than the cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation. By the way, clearly the best Star Trek franchise. No two ways about it. So cute, yes? I can’t decide which of these are my favorite but I will admit that I’m glad Wesley Crusher isn’t one of them. I know, I know, Wil Wheaton is an amazing man but the boy genius thing is so played out and it was played out in 1989.
