Batman Pumpkin
Here’s another cool pumpkin from Craftster user GlassesFullOfStars. She “created the Batman stencil myself from the Frank Miller Year One graphic novel cover…” Click through to see some more pumpkins.

Why so serious? Alisonwondeland put together this awesome Joker Costume and posted it on craftster. She says she got the outfit from the local Salvation Army (thrift store jackpot!) and the make up is regular old Halloween make up you can get anywhere. If you aren’t lucky enough to find a purple suit at the thrift store, I must say I preferred the candy striper outfit on The Joker in the film.
Hey, you’ve got a bit of red on you…just a little ink from the pen used to create this awesome pumpkin? Polkadotchas posted this amazing work of art on craftster. I only wish my Halloween pumpkins could look as cool as this Shaun of the Dead Pumpkin, and if I was this talented, I don’t think I could go wrong honoring both my love of zombie flicks and Simon Pegg.
Crafster user twonderland painted Jack and Sally freehand with a toothpick for this Nightmare Before Christmas pumpkin! Awesome!
Star Wars blogger and book author extraordinaire Bonnie Burton recently had a chance to try out the new inflatable Jabba the Hutt costume when it arrived in the Star Wars Shop! She wrote about her field trip around the LucasFilm campus and the closest Starbucks, and even tried out some dance moves inside the giant suit (there’s a video to prove it!).

Bonnie says:
The cool thing about this costume is that it literally keeps you cool while you wear it thanks to an internal, battery-operated fan inside that inflates it so you actually look like the Hutt himself. The head of Jabba isn’t attached to the body of the costume, which makes it a fun thing to wear just on its own.
You can find the costume here, read about her adventures here, and see tons more photos here. Don’t miss Bonnie’s fantastic Star Wars Kids Crafts archive, either — she offers tons of project tutorials to try, including this super cute Yoda doll. After seeing her demo at Maker Faire, my nephew and I made one together — one of my favorite craft projects ever!
Here’s another cool Nightmare Before Christmas costume – Oogie Boogie. Craftster user ashleyjustine sewed this out of burlap and padded it with polyester fiber fill. She posted another picture showing the insects she added coming out of him, but because I’m terrified at the mere image of bugs, you’ll have to click through for that one.
