I ran across this Princess Leia Burp Cloth while searching for some geeky diaper covers. Queen DeLuxe made this awesome Star Wars burp cloth from a prefold cloth diaper, perfect for soaking up those big ones, because even geeky babies spit up. If there is one thing I love, it is a great Doctor Who craft, and as I anxiously await Matt Smith‘s premiere as the new Doctor next month, Kim2.0 is filling the void left by Tennant‘s departure with this great Wooden TARDIS she made from birch & balsa wood and posted on her blog.
One of our favorite submitters (is that a word?), Dawn A. Crawford sent in this creeptastic 9 Soft Sculpture from her blog, Crap I Make. Whether you enjoyed the post-apocalyptic, burlap doll story, you have to admit this little guy is pretty well made and very creepy. The details are great, too, with a working zipper and hand-sewn “9”.
My friend Barbara Shaurette has put a few of her costumes up for sale in her Etsy shop — including this phenomenal Battlestar Galactica flight suit modeled after Starbuck’s!
Barbara says,
The suit itself is highly detailed, with exactly placed pockets on the legs and chest, and on the sleeves. Both sleeves include the appropriate patches – “Viper” on the right, and the Galactica insignia on the left. The left sleeve also includes a reflective red panel that extends from forearm to wrist. The wrists and ankles are finished with narrow PVC bands and snap closures. The front of the suit closes with a full-length zipper.

If you really love Doctor Who, then you know that The Doctor really loves Jelly Babies, they’ve managed to be a favorite snack through several of his incarnations (most famously Tom Baker’s Doctor), and if you’ve ever had them before, you understand why. One last farewell to the Tenth Doctor seemed appropriate, now that David Tennant’s last episode as The Doctor has aired both in the US and UK.. TeamTHRASH made this adorable Tenth Doctor Chibi featured on Deviant Art. I love his slightly angry looking expression–quite like The Doctor is his final few episodes. Now all that’s left to do is wait until Spring and hope that Matt Smith is able to fill Tennant‘s Converses.
