DIY Handsome Jack papercraft mask

Borderlands 2 has some amazing characters, but the one I loved the most was definitely Handsome Jack.  I was checking out the Borderlands 2 forums recently and came across an old post where user botman made an awesome paper craft Handsome Jack mask.  I scrolled through some of the comments and to my surprise (and delight) he provides instructions later in the thread.

I will let his post speak for itself, however he does warn that this is an advanced paper craft and that beginner and intermediate users may have trouble with it.

Mario Paper Craft

Hi Geek Crafters! I’m writing you from the fair city of Austin today, in town for SxSWEDU. If you are an Austonian and have any recommendations for great vegan places to check out, tweet them at me.

If you are more of a Bowser kind of person, there is a papercraft for you as well. Laboratory 424 has step-by-step instructions instructions if you want to try your hand at this project. An important caveat: this project may not be ideal for young–ish children, as the neodymium magnets are intense, and they can seriously pinch little fingers.

Mini Papercraft, Maxi Cool

Have you ever wanted to make an adorable mini papercraft version of…anything cool? Ever? Well, Gus Santome probably has you covered. She-Ra? Check! Batman? Yep! R2-D2? Indubitably!

Seriously, these are crazy cute. I haven’t tried to make any yet (partially because I already have too many knickknacks and gewgaws), but I could use a bit more flair on my desk at work…. Project!

Freezer Paper TARDIS Hoodie

Hello Geeks!

Today I would like to show you this amazing TARDIS hoodie from Samantha_McKay on Crafster.

She ordered her brother a sonic screwdriver set for Christmas and decided that he needed something to go with it; she looked up some designs on the internet but none were quite right.

So she sketched her own design and made a stencil out of Freezer Paper and applied it to a plain hoodie (Blue of course).

Paper Dolls by Breeyn McCarney and Christopher Lewis

LED-paper-dressI really love when something simple becomes something outrageous and astonishing–like Paper Dolls, the project by best friend pair Breeyn McCarney and Christopher Lewis. Breeyn took paper crafting to a wholly different building (forget a new level!) making these gorgeous, hand cut paper dresses. Then, because that wasn’t awesome enough, Chris rigged these babies up with LED lighting, and remote controls!

Now, all of that is pretty amazing, but stand by for the REALLY cool part. Tomorrow at 9pm EST, Bree and Chris will be on the web show Nat and Marie, showcasing these amazing dresses, and you (yes, YOU) can interact with the dresses from your browser or smart phone! High fashion, high tech, social networking…is there anything they can’t do?

Atari Freezer Paper Shirt

That being true, I had to feature this Atari Freezer Paper Shirt made by Lucinda879 on Craftster. This was her first try, and it came out perfect, in my expert opinion.
