Last night I was doing some very important garden gnome research (seriously!) and came across The Nerd Nook on Etsy run by a husband and wife team. I bought this hand-carved gnome stamp for my own collection and then browsed through the entire shop to find all sorts of geeky carved stamps and paper goods, including these I (heart) lightsabers postcards, perfect for any Star Wars fan. I love Big Bang Theory. Anything that brings uber-geekiness into living rooms across America is good in my book, and the characters are awesome. A sweater vest so geeky, and so crafty that it was submitted to us twice by two different people! The Happy Seamstress describes it on her blog as “the nerdiest sweater vest in the world” (because there are really chic, hip sweater vests?). She took a screen shot of Super Mario Bros. , made a pattern and knitted this amazingly geek-tastic Super Mario Sweater Vest for her husband, after dying her own chartreuse yarn to match the pipe and bush perfectly!
