This has got to be the coolest thing I’ve ever seen that’s made of felt! Craftster user loudxmouse sewed this completely amazing Rancor from Return of the Jedi. Click through for more pictures…check out the drool! Awesome!

Craftster user MollyMillions made these dolls of Jack and Ianto from Torchwood for a friend. She cut up old teddy bears for hair and even put magnets where their noses should be so they can kiss ;)

Craftster user Taeowyn stenciled these super geeky 6″ x 6″ canvases for a Dr. Who swap. This is a great way to make your own wall art!

I am loving the Spock crafts! Phillip Torrone posted the coolest matzah anyone’s ever seen on the Craftzine blog. He used a laser cutter to etch Spock on matzah. Live long and prosper this Passover.

While watching Battlestar Galactica, Steph saw Starbuck’s mandala and thought it would make an awesome hat. (She was right!) She says,

The colors and design are great, and it’s the perfect fandom knit; people who watch the show will probably get it, but those who don’t will just think it’s an awesome hat.

• Battlestar Galactica hat

More than meets the eye? Robyn Lee of Required Eating posted this picture of Optimus Prime made out of cans, taken by Matt Boulton. Apparently, there’s an annual contest in Vancouver where artists make all sorts of amazing sculptures from canned food. After the event, it’s all donated to food banks. They’ve got pictures of entries from the past four years - definitely worth a look.

Our first Weekend 10 installment is all about everyone’s favorite Star Wars droid, R2-D2.

1. R2-D2 Cake

Flickr user sugarlipscakes made this R2-D2 cake for Dave’s 30th birthday. Dave’s a lucky man.

2. R2-D2 PC Case Mod

The Contaminated posted this incredible R2-D2 case modification. Unfortunately, there’s no instructions or further information. Not that any of us mere mortals could duplicate this amazing feat of engineering anyway.

Cook long and prosper?

Flickr user Nix Sidhe made this ridiculously awesome Spock apron for her boyfriend. Star Trek fans who also cook, rejoice! I’m dying to know if she found fabric with a giant Spock or if she had some other clever way of making it so big.
