According to Doctor Who Crafts, this replica crib of The Doctor’s cot was made for Andred Gallafraigh and submitted by Kathleen Gallafraigh. Hmmmmm, Gallafraigh….Gallifrey…I wonder!
In just a year, I’m going to be finished with college. Soon, I’ll have to decide what to do with the rest of my life! Every time I see a baby in a pram or stroller, I squee with delight, so little geeky addition sounds just lovely. Young children are a great inspiration for crafts. I honestly can’t wait to turn our study into a Nintendo-themed bedroom and start finger-painting Pokémon with the little ones.

No, it’s not international food week on Geek Crafts. Around here, the sun is trying its best to keep the ponds from freezing, but it’s not working out too well. Bikini season seems years away. Plus, this weekend’s Easter. Eggs! Chocolate! Meat! It’s the perfect time of the year for food!

Allison Bitter has a free knit pattern over at Ravelry for your baby: a Dalek jumper! (You may need to create a user name and password in order to download the pattern.)
“You don’t have to wait for the baby in your life to grow up to put him or her in a Dalek jumper! …you can choose which two colors you’d like to make it. It uses around 215-250 yards of yarn and will probably keep you busy for a while – just long enough to figure out how to avoid extermination.”
And once your baby becomes the scourge of the universe, this little jumper would go well with the Dalek onesie, featured here on Geek Crafts a little over two years ago by Rossie.

There are not enough words to describe the sheer volume of nerdyness included in this baby blanket. I went through it and am sure I’m missing references. I can see Big Bang Theory, The Never Ending Story, Voltron, Hitchhikers Guide, Star Wars, Star Trek, Doctor Who, Battlestar, Firefly, Thundercats, and more more more.
