With the coming of March, my mind turns to starting my container garden. I love working in the dirt, planting seedlings and then cooking with the lovely veggies and herbs that I watched grow. It’s a labor of love for me.
Last year, the concept of garden art fascinated me and I’ve spent several months thinking about how to decorate my planters. While surfing the Net for ideas, I came upon this and was blown away!

When I came across these pictures, I was instantly in love. This is a collection of portraits of famous scientists by artist Simon Bent. I imagine making a quilt out of one of these. How great would it be if your baby’s blankets was a big picture of Isaac Newton.
Is it some kind of Star Wars blasphemy to depict Darth Vader as Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer or the Star Trek emblem as a Santa hat, well then these 2 Etsy card makers know no boundaries.
