Hiya Geeks!
We got almost 300 entries for the Name the Geek contest! That’s right–almost 300! Is it the fame you’ll forever have for naming our geek or the epic prize package that brought you out in droves? Anyway, with so many entries, even after deleting the exact duplicates, we decided to make this sort of tournament style to give everyone a fair chance to win. So here’s how it will work:
- On Monday and Tuesday there are 32 groups of 8-9 names. You can vote for your 4 favorite names in each of those 32 groups.
- On Wednesday, the top 4 names from each group will be regrouped into 16 groups. Again, you can choose 4 from each group. (Oh my, this might get confusing with saying “group” so many times…)
- On Thursday, the top 4 names from each group will be remixed into 8 groups. (Yes! Remixed!)
- On Friday, the top 4 names from each group will be remixed into 4 groups.
- On Saturday, the top 4 names from each group will be remixed into 2 groups.
- On Sunday, the top 4 names from each group will be combined and you’ll choose just ONE name from the 8 listed. The one with the most votes is the winner!
