Exploding TARDIS Shoes

Man I wish I could draw. Then I could try to make these for myself! cakewalkqueen made a pair of Exploding TARDIS sneakers using sharpies! She based them on a pair she saw on Etsy that feature Van Gogh’s drawing of the TARDIS exploding from the Doctor Who episode “The Pandorica Opens”. One shoe says “The pandorica will open” on the outside and the other says “Silence will fall”.

A Stitch In Time…Lord

Allons-y! Craftster user pickled_peppers made this 1/3 scale model amigurumi of the tenth Doctor— complete with red converse and double hearts (his hair is perfect too)!  Ten is my Doctor, so I really love this.  There are more pictures in her post (including one “with” the Doctor). She’s working on a pattern, for those of use who want their very own huggable David Tennant.

It goes ding when there's stuffWhoah!  It’s a timey-wimey detector necklace!!! (it goes ding when there’s stuff)  Really like the font, layout, and the extra ‘ding’ pendant is perfect!  I love this almost as much as I love David Tennant…

imaginationemporium on Etsy has this and other super sweet doctor pendants (allons-y!)  Yet another MUST HAVE for my collection :)

Weeping Angels Cross Stitch

The Weeping Angels are by far the scariest Doctor Who monster. Worse than the Daleks, worse than the Cybermen. And bunnystuffs managed to capture the creepyness. She posted this over at Crafty_Tardis, and sent it to a show in the UK. Her Weeping Angel is amazingly detailed, and the words glow in the dark. I’ve done cross stitch before, and I just don’t have the patience for something like this. The red highlights are perfect (because the angels just aren’t scary enough).I’m not sure I’d want this in the house though…one night you look up and the angel isn’t covering her face anymore…

Driving through my neighborhood the other day, I saw a really impressive snow sculpture (two horses- seriously cool, and BIG) and it got me thinking about how bad I want to make a snow”man”.   Sooo, despite the fact I just said how sick I am of winter…  I’m hoping for one more good snow day so I can get to work!

A quick Google search leads you to around a billion snowdaleks, so I decided to just feature the best one.  I searched multiple sources, and made my decision…

Congratulations Afraid of Ducks/ Mark Merifield of London, you have the best snowdalek!  Amazing attention to proportion, scale and detail… you win 1000 internets and all bragging rights!!

Tiny TARDIS

What a lucky little Time Lord! I wish I would have gotten a TARDIS for my birthday! Mateo’s dad, Brian, made this out of corrugated paper, and his mom, Jennifer posted it on on her blog. This is the cutest thing I have ever seen. The light on top is amazing! Brian is working on plans for this, so everyone can make their own TARDIS. I’m going to make one that’s my size ;)
