TARDIS Gingerbread House

It’s not too far past the holidays for gingerbread yet, is it?

No? Alright, then check out this gingerbread TARDIS by Reddit user Fortunekitty. She went so far as to post her own tutorial for other Whovians to make their own holiday treat.

Fortunekitty’s TARDIS is made from white chocolate mixed with blue food coloring for the icing, gingerbread, and edible sugar paper for the printed signs.

Would this count at all towards the Doctor someday being a ginger? Probably not, but what a way to try!

Gingerbread AT-AT

I’m amazed by this spectacular, completely edible Imperial Walker holiday craft project concocted by Rachel Klemek that my friend Jen pointed me to. Wow!!

From the post:

Blackmarket Bakery owner Rachel Klemek, who made this — dare we say it — adorable AT-AT from gingerbread. In Klemek’s depiction of the infamous Battle of Hoth, the Star Wars assault vehicle can be seen traipsing over a field of candy canes and taffy, leaving a trail of destruction in its delicious path. The scrumptious scene also depicts a Rebel Alliance Snowspeeder wrapping a licorice tow cable around the AT-AT’s legs.

Geeky Gingerbread Xmas Tree Decoration

Seeing as there are now only 30 days till Christmas I reckon that we need some geeky Christmas decoration inspiration.

Where better to start that with some Tree decorations?

Claire (maxxev on Craftster) has started already by making some amazing geek gingerbread men.

Made by painting up a pre-made gingerbread shape with under-glaze, she is currently waiting to get them glazed and fired.

From super heroes to Star Trek she is a true geek crafter and well worth a look.
