Tomorrow is the season finale of Futurama *sniff* So to get us through this dark time, I bring you Dr. Spudberg! This Mr. Potato-head mod was created by mrtruffle (Ashley Ringrose) based on Dr. Zoidberg, his favorite character. I love his claws and that he’s smiling (with teeth! He has teeth in the pilot). mrtruffle said that Bender was his other favorite character, so let’s hope he does him in Potato form next!

Futurama Bender and Leela Cosplay
One of the highlights from a Halloween party I attended this past year was a life-size, true to Futurama canon, EtOH fueled Bender being in attendance. Over six feet tall, Bender was skillfully crafted from household items. 
Regretfully, there are not any pictures of the interior of the EtOH cabinet that was custom crafted for this Bender unit.
I can, however, attest that all one needed to do was open the chest compartment, insert an appropriate adult beverage, connect it to the intake hose, and then Bender was able to party on with hands-free operation. Of course, Leela was around to keep an eye on Bender! ‘An eye’ ha…ha…ha…
Baby Bender Amigurumi
Precocious little scamps, aren’t they? These Baby Benders were made by Loefferst (one commissioned by a friend, the other to keep for herself). “Taken straight out of the episode “Lethal Inspection” these lovable little Benders come complete with Mexican beer”. Those beer bottles are life size! These have to be my favorite Futurama amigurumi ever! They took 30 hours, so they’re both full of that emotion I understand is called love.
Futurama Glasses
New Futurama starts Thursday! I’m a little obsessed with the show, so both of my posts this week will be Futurama stuff. Today we have Futurama etched glasses! PimpernelSmith made these for a show obsessed friend, and I love that the images used that aren’t just the characters faces. The Zoidberg glass made me laugh out loud! Hypnotoad is at the bottom of each glass, to compel the drinker to refill. All Glory to the Hypnotoad!
Futurama Amigurumi Zoidberg
New Craftster user Loefferst (I love finding new users!) came up with this design herself for an amigurumi Zoidberg from Futurama. She was also nice enough to share the pattern, so click through to see her post if you want to make your own. I’m in love with the teeny tiny felt clothes and accessories. And for those who aren’t Futurama experts, Loefferst says:

Futurama Hama Coasters
Craftster user zombiecakeses (awesome name, btw) had just moved and thought her new place needed some “geekery”. So she made these amazing Futurama Coasters! They’re made out of Hama beads. The details are amazing; the shading is fantastic! I can’t decide if my favorite is Bender or the Brainslug. Too cute!
