I travel a lot. It’s my job. It could easily be said that I live on airplanes. I always see people with neck pillows and I think they look stupid. I have often said that I will never use a neck pillow, and that my sore neck after every flight is a badge of honor.

Well that is about to change.

This Long Cat Neck Pillow by Felicia Rose on Etsy is the height of fashion. If I saw someone with one of these on a plane, I would marry them. Additionally, its inability to grasp simple human grammar structure is hilarious.

He Sees You When You’re Crafting

I know this has been rattling around the interwebs for ages now (three years in internet time is rather more like three decades in the real world), but, astonishingly, it has never made an appearance on Geek Crafts. Until now, that is.

Thus may I present to you papercraft ceiling cat. Per the directions, I whipped one up myself and was highly amused by the results…though it would have been more effective if I’d actually managed to stick him on the ceiling. I’m quite short, even with the aid of ladders. (Note: for a slightly more impressive result, I’d suggest enlarging the design by about 25%.)

I am not the hippest kid at the LOLCat convention by any stretch, so it is fair to say there are “internet memes” I miss completely, and plenty I just do not understand. Nyan Cat is some odd mix of both. I stumbled on Nyan Cat a few days ago, only to discover that Nyan Cat was in the process of actually taking over the world, using a rainbow shooting out of it’s bum, and wearing what appears to be a pop tart.

The upside to Nyan Cat, I suppose, is that it is kind of cute. Craftasaurus Rex (but seriously, how cool is that name?) sent me this picture of her cat, in the Nyan Cat Costume she made for her. Apparently, this is only a prototype, I look forward to seeing the 2.0!
